Well now that I’ve posted Chris Brogan’s fantastic 40 ways to deliver killer blog content, I feel obligated to follow all 40 rules to ensure you, my reader, gets what you came for.
In Chris’ basics he preaches brevity. At my job I run a 40-plus page magazine for one of our clients. While 40 pages may seem like a lot for an internal publication, I’ve found 40 pages disappear quickly. I am constantly trimming and cutting stories to make our editorial calendar fit into each issue. Knowing that at least two of my writers are bloggers or Twitters, I’m interested to see how the social media world improves or hinders their publication writing. At the very least, I expect to see more 140-character paragraphs.
Was that short enough? Hope so.
